The Sonic Movie filming continues in Ladysmith, and we got a new picture from it:
Sonic Mania Team currently in Japan
After the absolute success of Sonic Mania, it seems that there might be a new 2D aventure for the Hedgehog in the near future. Lola Shiraishi, the producer of Sonic Mania, posted on her Twitter that the Team responsible for Sonic Mania has landed in Japan. The reason for that is currently unknown, but according to some speculation, it seems that SEGA is interested to talk about the future of 2D Sonic games with them. Maybe this could be the beggining of Sonic Mania 2.

Lee Majdoub, who is known for Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency and CBS’s Zoo, will play a character named Agent Stone, who works closely with Jim Carrey’s Doctor Eggman.

UPDATE: SONIC IS GOING TO HAVE A NEW ANIMATED SERIES
Sonic Mania Adventures Production Manager revealed on instagram that a new animated Sonic series is in development. It’ll feature Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy going on brand new adventures.
We don't have an idea on when it'll debut, but The Sonic Press will be on the lookout for any news!

Friday's Sonic Movie filming is delayed due to rain
Friday was originally supposed to have some filming for the Sonic Movie in the fictional town of Green Hills, but due to a string of showers, friday's shooting had to be delayed. "Film crews are moving inside to an undisclosed location and the main strip will remain open to traffic", according to the Ladysmith Chronicle.

Sonic 2 is coming to the Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch’s SEGA Ages will receive some SEGA Classics, including Space Harrier, Columns II (with online battles), Sonic the Hedgehog 2, OutRun and Thunder Force AC.

Campfire scene in the Sonic Movie begun its filming
Some more pictures from the shooting of the Sonic Movie, they’re currently shooting the campfire scene between Sonic and Tom. This road and woods will be the scene where the campfire will take place. Since this picture was took in daytime, I believe that they were still setting some things up to begin the filming at night.
